Our Community Impact

As a Community Foundation, we see it as our job to be actively involved in our community. We don't just help others invest in our community, we also work as an active force to make Kitsap a more resilient, healthy, and strong community. From providing grants to local nonprofits to orchestrating the annual Kitsap Great Give, we are always working to find ways we can uplift and strengthen Kitsap.

Growing a Giving Culture

The Kitsap Great Give is a 24-hour, online giving event organized by the Kitsap Community Foundation to benefit the greater Kitsap area, including North Mason County. Through this event, anyone anywhere can give as much as they want to support Kitsap nonprofits, and we'll boost their donation from our sponsor-created bonus pool.

Grantmaking

With the support of our donor-advised funds and a number of other investors, to date, Kitsap Community Foundation's distributions have exceeded $11 Million. Our Competitive Grant Cycle opens once a year, every September.
