It is with great pleasure that we share the exciting news of Melissa Luatua’s promotion to Program Associate, Grants & Special Initiatives, effective September 1st, 2023. Melissa has been an invaluable member of the KCF team for the past two years and her professional journey with us has been nothing short of impressive.
Melissa consistently demonstrates her dedication to serving others. Through her unwavering commitment to providing excellent service to our donors, nonprofit partners, and all those she interacts with, she endears herself to everyone she encounters. She is truly a cherished member of our team, and we eagerly anticipate her continued success in the months and years ahead.
In her new role, Melissa will take on a range of responsibilities, including:
With Board leadership, drive our competitive community grants process
Support the Women’s Giving Circle grants process
Work with fundholders to distribute advised grants
Offer support to nonprofit staff during the Kitsap Great Give
Collaborate with our Scholarships Manager to streamline the award process
Work alongside our CEO, Board, and philanthropy team as we collectively strive to inspire transformational abundance in our region.
We have the utmost confidence in Melissa’s ability to excel in this new position and are eager to witness the positive impact she will undoubtedly have on Kitsap Community Foundation and our beloved community.
